Scott Wiener
Scott Wiener impressed people so much when he was a college student
that he was hired right out of school to be #2 at the closely watched
indie startup of Mike Barbiero (Guns 'N Roses, John Lennon & Yoko Ono,
Metallica), John Agnello (Dinosaur Jr., Sun Volt, Jawbox), Phil Nicolo
(Lauren Hill, Police) and Rob Grenoble (Dismemberment Plan, Antigone
Rising, Chris Stamey). Called INFIDEL Records, the label is based within
the studio complex of Water Music in Hoboken, NJ. They had to wait,
actually, because the first thing Scott did out of college was log
17,000 miles nationally, touring with the Martha Dumptruck Massacre.
Apparently the partners at INFIDEL felt he was worth waiting for.
